The Quartermaster Guild is a centre of expertise by and for quartermasters. The aim of the expertise centre is to contribute to the professionalisation of quartermasters and the improvement of the quality of quartermaking. We are a network organisation with members who share knowledge, experiences and best practices in order to develop and disseminate knowledge.
OUR VISION
Quartermaster is a profession. In our opinion, a separate profession. The development and dissemination of knowledge about quartermaking is essential. That’s why we set up the Quartermakers Guild as a network organisation of and for quartermasters. The profession of quartermaster is one that you can learn and develop. A prerequisite is that you learn it in practice and gain experience. That is why we have chosen the form of a ‘guild’, aimed at continuing a craft. Within the guild, we encourage learning from each other, in the ‘master-apprentice’ tradition.
